What did you do before you joined esure?

I worked as a supervisor in New Look whilst I was at school and whilst studying at college.

What sort of things does your job involve?

My job involves many different tasks, which include dealing with customer's policies e.g. amending a policy, canceling a policy, and batching the policy. My job also involves making sure that the customer sends in the correct proof of bonus and if nothing has been received then I will send a letter to ask the customer for this. Within the office there are also many other tasks, which take place like with the accounts side of policies.

The department is target driven and every person has a target to meet everyday and the teams have to make monthly targets. This makes us work together as we try to do the best for our teams.

I feel that operational support has a major effect on the business, as our work makes sure that the best action is taken to keep the customer happy and they will then want to stay with esure.

What do you like most about your job?

What I like most about the job is the atmosphere in which we work as it is target driven and I like to work towards a goal. Also everyone gets on with each other which makes it a good place to work as you can talk and work at the same time. The work also varies so you are not doing the same work all day every day.

What's it like to work at esure?

It's a friendly environment. Also esure give different benefits to its employees e.g. Profit Share and discounted rates on BUPA and gym membership.

What do you like most about the company?

The company tries to make sure staff get the best. For example, one year, everyone got rewarded for their efforts with an extra days holiday. The company is also well known and the building is in a great location to work.

How do you see your career with esure progressing?

I see my career within esure progressing very far. I joined as an Administrator and less than two years later I became a Senior Administrator and a year later, I was promoted to Operational Support Executive. Ultimately, I would like to be a Team Leader.

What would you say to anyone who's thinking about joining esure?

It is a good starting salary for young people. You must be target driven as targets need to be met every day, but with this, if you always meet targets then you will get a pay rise when you get your performance and salary review.
