What did you do before you joined esure?

Prior to working for esure, I worked for a major UK holiday company in a contact centre. I started there as a sales agent and then progressed to team leader.

What sort of things does your job involve?

On a daily basis, I proactively contact potential internet customers who have completed a quote via an aggregator site. I build rapport to identify customer needs and subsequently use our extensive knowledge of esure products and services to match policy features and benefits and secure an immediate sale. I have a small amount of administration; the main part of the day is spent on the phone liaising with our customers.

What do you like most about your job?

I love working with my team, earning lots of sales bonus and being in control of my day.

What’s it like to work at esure?

esure is a fun and exciting place to work; there are lots of opportunities for development and promotion. Due to the nature of our business we have to expect constant changes and adapt quickly.

What do you like most about the company?

It is great to be part of a progressive organisation that is looking to improve our carbon footprint, and offers extensive support to charities.

How do you see your career with esure progressing?

In September last year I was promoted to Senior Sales Agent. I have recently applied for a Team Executive position and hope to eventually become a Team Leader.
