What did you do before you joined esure?

Prior to working for esure, I worked for a major UK holiday company in a contact centre. I started there as a sales agent and then progressed to team leader.

What sort of things does your job involve?

On a daily basis I deal with potential and existing customers building rapport to instil customer confidence and identify needs. I will then use the information given to identify customer requirements and match features and benefits. This will secure new business and retain existing customers at renewal. I have a small amount of administration; the main part of the day is spent on the phone liaising with customers.

What do you like most about your job?

My team are fantastic, I love the variation in enquiries and the fact no day is the same.

What's it like to work at esure?

esure is a fun and exciting place to work; there are lots of opportunities for development and promotion. Due to the nature of our business we have to expect constant changes and adapt quickly.

What do you like most about the company?

It is great to be part of a progressive organisation that is looking to improve our carbon footprint, and offers extensive support to charities.

How do you see your career with esure progressing?

Throughout the past five years I have grasped every opportunity to develop and move departments, At present my role as Senior Sales Agent on the home team presents daily challenges. Who knows what the future will offer? Maybe Team Leader?
