esure was launched in January 2001 with one very simple aim - to become an industry leader within 5 years.
We started off by handling Halifax Car Insurance in January 2001, before launching our own esure Car Insurance in July of that year. Home Insurance, Travel Insurance and an agreement to provide Sainsbury’s Bank with Car Insurance soon followed. And that’s just for starters – in 2005, we launched Sheilas’ Wheels car insurance and in February 2008, we developed its home insurance brand too!
esure is now one of the largest insurance providers in the UK and we are expanding our team significantly to support our growth as we continue to evolve and grow.
