esure started out in January 2001, originally as a joint venture with Halifax plc - and later HBOS/Lloyds - before completing a successful management buy-out in February 2010. esure was one of the fastest growing insurers ever in the years after its launch and stepped up another gear with the launch of Sheilas' Wheels in 2005. The marketing for esure and Sheilas' Wheels includes some of the most famous insurance ads ever. We also sell both esure and Sheilas' Wheels Home Insurance and have become one of the top five motor insurers for domestic customers in the UK.
